cut background Step 1: Create the Selection with the Bezier Curve Tool Use the Bezier Curve Tool to carefully trace around your subject (as described in the previous steps). Close the selection path by connecting the last point to the first one. Right-click within the path and choose “Convert to Selection” to turn the path into an active selection around your subject. Step 2: Invert the Selection (Select the Background) Go to Select > Invert Selection (or press Ctrl + Shift + I ). This will switch the selection from the subject to the background. Step 3: Delete the Background With the background selected, press Delete on your keyboard, or go to Edit > Clear . This will remove the background, leaving only the subject. Step 4: Refine the Edges (Optional) If you see rough edges, you can use the Eraser Tool to manually clean up or apply a Feather on the selection.
